The political, moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the current Conservative party - Award-winning economist Simon Wren-Lewis dissects the failures of the current government. Notwithstanding their claim to be “neo-liberal”, when compared to two other recent neo-liberal administrations in the UK (Thatcher 1979-1990 and Blair/Brown 1997-2010) their economic failure is stark.
